Mindy Cohn

The current voice of Velma Dinkley is Mindy Cohn. She has been in this role since 2002, which gives her the distinction of being Velma's voice for more years than any other actress.

With the possible exception of Casey Kasem, Mindy Cohn is probably the only name you recognize among the Scooby Doo voice actors. That's because she starred as Natalie Green in the popular Facts of Life television show, before she became the voice of Velma Dinkley. Cohn has voiced Velma in both a series and movies. She started in the fun What's New Scooby Doo series. The movies for which she is credited are:

  • Scooby Doo and the Loch Ness Monster
  • Chill Out, Scooby Doo
  • Aloha, Scooby Doo
  • Scooby Doo in Where's My Mummy?
  • Scooby Doo Pirates Ahoy
  • Scooby Doo and the Goblin King
  • Scooby Doo and the Samurai Sword

Although Mindy Cohn has worked on other series, the two most high profile remain the Facts of Life and the voice of Velma Dace Dinkley.
