Like most voice actors, you may not recognize the name Scott Menville. However, Menville has provided the voice of Shaggy Rogers in the most recent Scooby Doo series called Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue. That series began in 2006 and features Shaggy when he is much younger than in the original or What's New series. Scott Menville also provide the voice of Dr. Trebla in the Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue series. Providing the voice of Shaggy was not Scott's fist foray into the world of Scooby Doo. He had previously provided the voices of Hedda Herring and Red Herring in the Pup Named Scooby Doo series.
As a voice actor, Menville has been success in providing voices of children up through mid teens. He has worked on a lot of other successful projects, including providing the voice of Robin in the Teen Titans and voices in the series "Avatar: The Last Airbender." In the Avatar series, one of Menville's co-actors was Grey DeLisle who has provided the voice of the voice of Daphne.
Compared to many of actors who have provided voices for Scooby or the gang, Menville is just a pup. However, Menville is a talented actor that you should expect to hear a lot from in the future. If you want a more complete list of Menville's credit, check out Voicechasers.
