For a Dognapper is episode number 5 in the Scooby Doo Where Are You original series. Spoiler Alert - details of this Scooby Doo episode are below.
Scooby Doo is out for a walk when he spots a beautiful poodle that he tries to impress. Of course, the poodle walks on by and is immediately dognapped. Scooby rushes to tell the gang of the incident. Just as he arrives, the radio reports the all of the dogs favored in an upcoming dog show are being dognapped.
Scooby and the gang immediately spring into action. The start by interviewing Buck Masters who is in charge of the dog show. Masters gives the gang some clues, including the fact that dog now favored to win is Great Dane. The gang decides to replace the award-winning Great Dane, with Scooby. The hope is that using him as "live bait" will allow the gang to track the dognappers. The decoy works and Scooby is stolen and taken to an old Indian village. Shaggy gives immediate chase, but is ambushed by the ghost of Geronimo riding a horse and wielding a hatchet.
The rest of the gang make their way to Indian village and meet a witch doctor who wants them to leave the village. After searching for clues, the gang finds the stolen dogs. Once the dogs are freed, the dogs chase and capture the dognapper.

- Why: Masters was kidnapping all of the competitors' dogs so that his dog would be sure to win the dog show.
Scooby Doo Trivia
Unlike most every other episode where Fred has a plan to catch the villain, there is no plan hatched to catch the dognapper. The stolen dogs just give chase and run Masters up a pole.
Scooby unmasks Buck Masters as the villain in this episode. This is the first ummasking by Scooby Doo.
